OMAX Digital Microscopes integrate advanced digital-imaging with precision optical-microscopy. Digital integration promotes uniformity and presents a simplified method for setting up and using microscopes.
OMAX provides a large range of solutions for education, research, and industry. Building on industry standards, we provide a full range of accessories to suit your needs.
The OMAX MD8233S50 is a highly versatile, digitally-integrated microscope for laboratories, clinics, and advanced education. Built around a precision, infinity-corrected optical system, this microscope provides excellent ergonomics, smooth mechanics, and expansive scalability. The integrated digital-imaging system further enhances functionality with turnkey efficiency.
Infinity-corrected optics provide better control over optical aberrations, resulting in improved resolution. Four objective lenses and two pairs of eyepieces provide a wide magnification range from 40X to 2000X. With precision mechanics, stage movements and focusing are smooth and reliable. The LED sub-stage lighting provides cool, energy-efficient illumination. Advanced functionality is available with optional dark-field and phase-contrast kits, as well as both mercury and LED-based fluorescence kits.
The integrated 5-megapixel camera can be used for a live video stream, and recording still images and video, all done with a single USB connection. The included Windows software features a wide range of measurement and editing tools, lending itself perfectly to the classroom or clinic with its ability to record, measure, and comment.
